An exploration in color and texture.
Each piece has been made intuitively and therefore with a sense of freedom from boundaries which echos the idea of abstract art for me. There is a sense of playfulness and experimentation which tend to reveal an inner world of emotion i may be processing at the time. They tend to portray my thoughts on societal and personal issues whilst capturing the wandering mind during lockdown and the desire to escape reality. The art consists mostly of bold colours, striking compositions and an element of light via gold/silver leaf or irridescent paint.
